Assistive Technology Partnership

The Assistive Technology Partnership is pleased to introduce this housing listing and locator service that will provide easy access to information about housing opportunities throughout Nebraska.

The service allows Nebraskans to locate available housing that best fits their needs either through the web site or via a toll-free number. Individuals will be able to easily search for housing using a wide variety of search criteria, access other helpful websites, as well as tools for renters, including an affordability calculator, a rental checklist, and renter rights and responsibilities information. www.Housing.NE.Gov will also provide information on supportive services throughout the State, especially those services linked to housing needs.

Property owners and managers, including Housing Authorities, can use this service to manage their property listings FREE of charge. Properties can be described in great detail. For example, listings can include pictures, maps, and information about nearby amenities. Property owners and housing authorities can register and manage their listings online or via phone and fax.

The Assistive Technology Partnership is working with Socialserve.com, a national non-profit provider of housing listing and locator services, to develop and maintain this web-based service and to provide toll-free call center support. In addition, the following partners are working together to ensure our service best serves the needs of Nebraskans who are in search of housing and supportive services.

The organizing agencies are encouraging all owners and onsite managers of rental housing to register and begin listing their properties on www.Housing.NE.Gov.
